playing with patchwork...

of a slightly different kind...free motion embroidery using cheesecloth with scrap bits of cloth and lace. i learned this technique from Karen Ruane. Simply Stitch 2 starts on Monday. check it out here.

Gorgeous Deanna - I love the effect of the fme with the added hits of colour.
I bet SS2 will be amazing - I'm not in it as we will be traveling for half of the time... I do so much better in the classes when I can work along as it happens - I will love seeing what you do though!

Lovely texture..Have you used any stabilizer underneath the cheese cloth ? It looks neat and crisp..I'd like to know whether it's because of lots of stitching or a stabilizer underneath...Please do share it with me...
